An Update

Haha, finally i decided to update. After Mr.Nick suggested i do so. It had been a really long time since I've updated. Hmm....well, I'll just talk about somethings that i wish to do or I'm about to do. As for the inspirational entries, I'll write them when I'm feeling like it. Haha.


Alright to start of, I'll be working at Ban Leong for the up coming COMEX show. Yes finally i got a job. Anyway, won't be posted at the sales side, so don't come looking for me at the sales side...I'm posted to the logistics side...yeap...logistics...never mind, at least there's something to do and i get paid for it. Wee...


If you do really need to buy stuff from Ban Leong, give me a call, I'll see what i can do for you.


The reason being why I'm working, is that I'm desperate to get my camera!!! I want to get it as soon as possible and start snapping. Want my skills to be upgraded to 70%. Currently I'm only 50%+ professional. Oh man, but the camera costs tons of money!!!


If i could just get a sponsor. Haha. Well hope i can persuade mom into sponsoring me, then I'll pay her back slowly. Haha. Oh well...just have to keep trying.

I Came Back To My Throne

It has been weeks since i ever wrote an entry. School has started and I've gotten back my results. Well, it was pretty alright. However still kind of upset, that i could have done better. I studied so hard, yet it always ends up like this. I really wonder why.


Today, i got back my VI lab quiz. For once, there's something to cheer about. Something i had been waiting for a very long time. When i saw the 2 digits on my paper, it was heaven, i thought, i got to be kidding myself. Since when have i got that kind of score. Not since primary school, when that score was so common on all my subjects that i took. For once i told myself, at least this semester isn't too bad. I won't rejoice yet. I'll wait for it all to end then I'll rejoice. It's still not over yet. Though the marks contribute 15%, the game is still not over. The sides can always turn over. Will continue to work hard. I will prevail against all the biasness the teachers can give against me. Doesn't matter. I'll work my best. Even if I'm a loser.


Got a couple of ambitions now. Trying to save up for my Nikon D60 camera. Maybe, by next year, mid year i should be able to have it. Nikon D60 SLR camera and a camera dry cabinet. Great, then i would be totally be able to stand on my own. My camera would serve to feed me and clothe me. That being my camera and i can be my own sole live hood for extra income/pocket money.


Initially wanted to get the Canon 450D SLR, but it proves to be too expensive and certain features that i don't really like or need. I would like to experiment with a good camera and then when I'm totally professional, i would change to a very high end camera. Say around 5 years after i get my D60. For now, I'm around semi- 3/4 professional. I just need more experience on a DSLR. Tried analog DSLR's before!

Currently, trying to make a transaction with LEGO, I've been waiting and hunting a train set, and finally found it. It's kind of out of stock, but if i can secure the deal, i don't mind waiting. Another set back to the savings, but everything is worthwhile. If i don't take the chance, It'll be gone.

Reason Why?

Jobless

The holidays have started. Well, it's only 2 weeks though. Wanted to find some work and make some money, so that i can buy my canon EOS 450d. However, there's just no employer who wants to employ me. I really feel sad. I thought i could work in the upcoming I.T show, but well, none for me. I managed to find one, but until today that guy has yet to confirm with his boss for an interview. One great boss. If you cannot confirm something, why make the person wait for you. Because of this incident, my schedule is all different. I wasted 4 days.

Canon EOS 450. The camera i wish to buy

Wanted to go for a seminar too, then again, i have driving lessons which i have to cater to. Why in the world drive? It just destroys the environment. Not that I'll be able to afford a car with today's car prices as well as fuel prices. Nothing i can decide, my dad decided this for me. So I'm going to get it done and over. It's really a pain in the arse.

So much so for desperate attempts to get a job. I guess it will take another year or so to save up $1400. All i could say, that is there is a way of getting a job, but only that it just needs recommendation to get you that job. No one would recommend me, because i have no qualifications. Nothing to prove that I'm up to the job, when actually i am. I've done so many things. If people don't give a chance no one can improve. Even a graduate can't find a job. All they ask for is experience. If you don't give him a job, how in the world can a fresh graduate get experience. If every employer says the same thing, none of the graduates can get experience. It's just being very selfish and not willing to take a calculated risk. He/she might just break or make your company. It's potential waiting to be discovered. How much can the graduate do? He/she can source for jobs within his/her ability, but if they don't want them, what can they do.

I'm really sad and angry with the way, the employers behave on recruiting people. For another million years these people will never change their mindsets. Look at how open the overseas people are. These people just want to make money and not care about the others.

No point of me rambling about it anyway. The exams were pretty ok, but i guess I'm going to get lousy grades or even fail. I think the teachers don't like me. But hey, doesn't matter. I will just do what i do the best. That is to work hard and give my best.

Was speaking to my dad about a potential business scheme. I thought of doing some car grooming services. The money made is good, but it requires sheer man power, which i have only to a average amount.

Really feel sad. Then again, nothing can be done.

Stop & Stare

Well, it's been a long week. Had not updated in ages. Not that there was the need to update as no one reads it anyway.

Love is in the air i guess. Unfortunately i guess it doesn't work for everyone. Does it? I really feel sad for my friend. I guess we got to give and take. Don't we? If you like someone, it doesn't unnecessarily mean that person would like you or has to like you. Love cannot be forced, neither be desperate. There's not point getting a girlfriend just because you don't have one. If you really like the person, go for it. If it doesn't work out, just too bad. Nothing can be done. Maybe that person might just like you the next time. Give some time. Time can do wonders. It can heal, it can fix many things, as well as destroy them. Time is essential to everything.

Actually there's nothing called time. I would prefer to call it evolution, expansion, development. Time is quantum space. When we move something from a different place to another, it's changing time. Time was created to make life easier to function. A particular thing of today wouldn't have been at the same place a century ago. Travel back and you will realize that where you are is different, but actually you are at the same place. Only the surrounding has changed, different prospects have shifted else where or destroyed and replaced. Sounds complex, but true indeed.

Well, however time affects everyone, i guess it doesn't affect me. To be able to see what comes before it is a gift. I manage time well, but sometimes you feel so tired and sad that you fail to do anything. I live in a delusional world. It's like playing a movie of yourself in your head, before the real thing happens.

I still feel the empty void inside. No one to hug, no one to kiss, no one to caress or take care. Sometimes i feel that my dreams are better then reality. Certain aspects will come true, the others will fade away.

Well, last week when i was going back home, this little girl and her mom stood next to me on the bus. The bus was pretty crowded. There was once a point the bus jerked bad. Everyone grabbed the poles tightly. The little girl could barely reach the poles. She grabbed my hand instead. I let her do so. Even the little girl had some trust in me, that i wouldn't let her down.

I felt happy. Having a little child hold your hand is like joy. A joy that one will not experience if you were a parent. I like children very much. Some day wish to have my own. I'm not a pedophile though. I'm not seeking sexual satisfaction from children. I'm looking for a satisfaction of a different kind. To raise a child, to see her grow and become someone better then i am. To see your legacy continue. To become a legend in their hearts. That is ultimate satisfaction. Extreme happiness. The road may be rough, but the path taken is a wise choice. Reach the end and you will see the light of the horizon.

However i guess i can only see it through my eyes. The world is how you wish it to be. For me, it is how i wish it not to be. How much it could be better. Without selfish thoughts. A better place, where everyone helps each other. No one just goes about minding their own business. A principle i preach everyday, is that even if you can't help, never harm anyone. Even if you are the subject of denial or rejection. Never harm them. Protect the innocent. Save the weak. Fight for justice. Fight through the pain.

Felt Lonely

It has been some time since i blogged out an entry. Well, recently, i felt the effects of being lonely again. Felt really miserable and useless. Kind of in fact felt like a loser. Well, I'm still one though. Then again i see so many beautiful girls/ladies have a nice relationship and friendship with so many lucky males. Not that I'm jealous, but i feel I'll never get to experience such feelings.

Felt happy for my friend. He has feelings for a girl in my class. She's a new comer. All the best friend!! You know who you are.

Well, trying to keep myself busy this semester. I've been more active in school activities. Have been attending peer tutoring sessions. That's right, peer tutoring it is. Only that I'm not the tutee, I'm the tutor! Haha.

I've got a friend from china whom I'm helping to brush her English up. Might be the first time and person to teach English in peer tutoring sessions. My English language isn't good either. Just trying my best to impart some skills to people in need.

I also met some arrogant people during the peer tutoring sessions, who wanted to show off their marks rather then to give quality teaching. Whats the point, even if you got 100 marks for a subject, yet do not know what in the world you are teaching to a student in need. I dislike such people. Just makes me want to work harder and beat these people.

Well, this is becoming a long entry. I'm trying to squeeze every bit of information and events into this entry. I'm not going for my immersion programme either. Don't feel like and, i don't think i can survive there for 6 weeks. Maybe the next time. For now i need to work on my GPA. It isn't the greatest.

Called in IBM for my friend and arranged an appointment to get his laptop fixed. Apparently, he's too afraid to demand for his right of way. So i helped him out this time. We need the laptop in school for many different purposes. This shows everyone is hooked to the laptop, with out it, everything to do with school would be a mess. I really dread such situations. Maybe i might just get a back up laptop some time soon.

Going to a big event in my faculty this may. It's big, but the job is just to usher some graduates to their seats. But it is kind of a big event. Basically, i'm trying to chalk up CCA points.

School's In

Well, school starts today. So no more of sitting and lazing around doing nothing. I'm kind of broke right now, so got to rekindle saving modes back. Well, yet to go to school. Lesson's start in the afternoon for Monday, so I'll be off to school later than usual Monday mornings.

First lesson, would be Japanese. Hope all goes well. Feel kind of lethargic to leave home, after spending so much time at home. Got to study hard and make the same improvement i did last semester. Hope i can do well. Wonder if the modules would be fun. I do hope so. It can be tough, but if it's stimulating to the brain and fun, it'll be a breeze for me.

If You See Him Say "Alamak"

Was just reading some articles about Mas Selamat and his escape. I wonder if they aired the show "Prison Break" in Singapore prisons? Pretty good show, but unfortunately the design of the prison cell isn't the same. The ones on the show are U.S styled. The cell that Mas Selamat escaped from was Singapore style. I'm sure the designers would have "Kiasu-ed" a bit and designed the prison cell blue print to be more interesting by not having a sink or toilet for him to escape through like in the show. More to the prison looking like this picture below.


Well anyway, many people thought he is off some where laughing his ass off from his escape. Some felt that he flushed him self through the toilet which is utterly ridiculous. On the other hand, lets congratulate everyone in their help to be more vigilant and to apprehend him some time soon. Some time soon as in soon. But i don't know when the soon would be, but should be soon. That was just to confuse you. Haha


My main purpose of this entry would be that, many have made different speculations of him or how he escaped. I had to have one of my own too. Not a speculation, but in fact a short poem for him. Here it goes

Shell V - Power Collector's Garage 2008

Yesterday, i managed to collect the final Ferrari car from Shell. It's about this promotion, that whenever you pump petrol or diesel to your vehicle, you can redeem these limited edition Ferrari cars for $5.95. The cars cost $5.95 as they feature the real original sound of the car. It's a new feature of these limited edition cars. My dad, collected the final car yesterday and bought the garage as well, to house the cars. Pretty happy indeed. First time ever i manage to collect all of them. The last time was a few years back, and i wasn't so keen then. Now I'm keen to collect such items, as they would prove valuable and mark a mile stone of your life when you look back in time. Thanks to Shell and Ferrari for having this collaboration. And a big thanks to my dad for getting them for me. He paid for it as well. Thanks

Well, having collected all the 7 Ferrari cars, i took some pictures of them and posted them below. Well, here are the pictures. Enjoy.

This is the box the Garage came in. This Garage will house the cars. The cars are collected separately. The white bit of paper is due to them covering a part of the name on the box. I think they spell it wrongly. It's supposed to be "V-POWER COLLECTOR'S GARAGE 2008". Upon my itchy hand i peeled part of it to discover that it was previously known as "V-POWER RACING COLLECTOR'S GARAGE 2008". I have no idea why the word "Racing" had to be there. Made no sense. Haha. Printing error or maybe name change. Fickle minded designers?


This is the Garage. It's an acrylic case that was developed with Ferrari. Costs $29.95 dollars. As you would have realized, i put the cars into the garage already. Haha

That was just the appetizer of the menu. Below I've posted the pictures of the cars with their individual packaging. I'm the type that collects the packaging of an item if it's nice. These packagings really deserve a place in my cupboards. They are really nice. Consider me weird, but thats just me! Haha

My Birthday 23/03/2008

Well, it's kind of late to post this, but well, it's here anyway. I was slow in taking the pictures. Haha

Well, i celebrated my birthday on the 23/03/2008, Sunday, which was also Easter Sunday. I did not collect any eggs, neither did i find any bunnies.

I could say that, it was a pretty good birthday. I recived lots of presents and got almost all the gifts from my birthday wish list. Can you believe that? My parents got me the XBOX 360 racing wheel, and the really expensive watch (Ain't telling you how much). I bought the XBOX 360 games. My sister got me a mind boggling game set. It's really good as it improves your brain power. I bought the blue berry cake at first, but later my mom paid for it. I wanted to pay for it, but she said, birthdays aren't supposed to be celebrated by the person himself(Being me).

Well, really grateful for the stuff i got. Very happy indeed. I can say, that this was one of the best birthdays i had. Well, as usual, my mom cooked something really good on my birthday. Had good food, presents. What else can i ask for?

One thing that was really new to me, was that my classmates and good friends actually celebrated my birthday at Fish & Co. on the 20/03/2008. It was the first time my friends had actually celebrated for me. Usually only my best friends call me or send me gifts. The rest don't bother. Really touched though. One of my best times too.

Thanks, Jeremy, Nicholas, Kin Kwok and Elaine for the present and the celebration too. They got me a steel bracelet and cake. Actually, Kin Kwok was hesitant to eat at Fish & Co. Anyway, he ate there eventually. Haha. I got her the bear, but it ended up at Kin Kwok's place. She left it inside his bag, as she was lazy to carry it around. Maybe the bear weighs a ton. Don't know if she liked it. Anyway, doesn't matter though.

Finally decided to take the pictures. I realized that my camera had no more battery power left. I charged it and took the pictures. I forgot to take the pictures of my Ferrari cars. Well, once i get all 7, I'll snap some shots. Currently, i have 5 out of 7 cars. Haha.

Jumped The Canyon

Well, today is results day. Pretty happy with my results. It has been a great improvement, over the past results. Could say, that i jumped the canyon. I worked really hard and should continue this. If i work at this pace increasing slowly, i would be able to reach my GPA goal of 3.8 easily. This time round i fell short from 3.8, but it was significantly, so much better then the previous result.

Was kind of frustrated in the morning. Everyone was asking for the results. Well, i told everyone who asked me the truth. Even nick told me the truth. There was certainly no reason to lie about the results or hide them. No one is going to take it and publicize it. We are all friend. If you had not done well, we will encourage you, not deter you. Yet, we have people who wished to lie and not tell the truth. Come on, it's just a result. If you wish not to tell, you can say so. Don't lie. Oh well.

Had a good breakfast today. Really contented with my results. Told my dad already. Have yet to tell my mom. My dad was pleased with what i had achieved. He asked me to strive harder. Results are not very important. The most important, is that you have no regrets and that you had tried your best. You will get what you deserve eventually. As for my case, it's a true example anyone can learn from. In fact, i was baffled too.

Kind of bored right now. Next week, going to help out to manage some booth at school. Wanted to join the foreign language programme. The darn payment has to be made via Nets or Cash card. Frankly who keeps $160 in a cash card? As for nets, i need to ask my parents to tag along to help me pay. I don't have an ATM card. Maybe I'll just pay it via Cash card. Most likely going to continue either Mandarin or Japanese. It's going to be useful some day.

I can see the clouds gathering together right now. A rain storm is imminent. I guess, that would be it. I shall take the clothes in and rest a little. Maybe play PGR4. After that i shall mop the house a little. Help my mom. Followed by, if i have time, take some pictures of my model cars.

Take Back

Well, I'll take back on what i said the last time. The birthday wish list isn't so scrapped after all. Yesterday went to I.T show at Suntec City. My parents came along too. The best thing was, they got me the racing wheel. Boy oh boy was i so happy. Haha. I bought the games by myself though. Didn't want them to spend more money. The wheel was on offer. Very much cheaper then the original price. It was a good deal. Well, it's sitting at home next to me now. Have yet to set it up and play. Bought 2 games. That was all i could afford. Haha. It's better then nothing. I'm happy.


Watched Water Horse today. It's a very good movie. I had tears in my eyes after such a long time. Usually, movies don't move me, but this one did. It really showed true friendship. I really like the way the movie was taken. Really classic. Everyone should watch this movie. It's really good. Sometimes i wish i had a friend like water horse. One who will stay by your side and be a real good friend. It's a real good movie that anyone will enjoy.

Done With It

I guess, I'm done with everything. Don't have the idea of working anymore. All the jobs are nonsensical and too far or not within my ability. Well, doesn't matter. I was born to lose, so failure isn't new to me.

I just realized how people can be. How do you classify friends. Till today, i have only 2 best friends, and 1 good friend. I just don't seem to make any more who fit this caliber.

People just want to find fault with you. They just don't understand you. All they want to be is guilt free and blame anyone they can. That's all. Well, doesn't matter though.

Nick just shared a piece of information about himself and his past. I'll keep that to myself, not going to tell it out.

Well, if anyone is planning anything for me, seriously, no thanks. Don't need it. I would like to spend my birthday alone. Loneliness is no one new to me. And don't waste your money buying presents, because I'm not coming on the 21st march.

Finally, maybe i shall build myself a new computer rig, one that focuses on more of multimedia and sound, rather then games. Still thinking about that though. Infact still wondering about some of the items in the Christmas / Year End list. I really want a new note book. My current one kills my back when ever i bring it to school. Too heavy. Then again. I would be wasting money. I don't wish to do that. My parents paid for the note book. Don't want to waste their hard earned money.

Fix It

Well, managed to fix my wireless modem yesterday. Yeah! Connected all my devices back into the wireless network. Unfortunately, couldn't get my playstation portable to connect to the wireless network. Hmm, the setting ask for stuff that i just don't know. Did everything possible, but to no avail.

On the other hand. Got my Nokia n81 to connect to the internet. That was really good. My Xbox360, laptop and whole house, now has wireless, after so long. It was down for so long. I tweaked some settings and was prepared to use my knowledge into fixing it. I wanted to open up the device and check out the circuitry, but hey, didn't need to do that though. Haha.

Well, with my wireless in, now my music studio is up and running to the maximum. Which is good news, as i now can do recordings and stream them through wireless to be edited.

Waiting for the rain to stop, before i go off to wash my dad's car. Sigh, every time it looks like the rain has stopped, it rains again. That's really sad. Saw a pretty girl at friendster. Made friends with her. Guess what, she's from the same secondary school as me. She's secondary 5 this year. Haha. Well, i had written a previous entry, with some nice pictures. Check it out.

Decided to post some pictures of my trip to Melbourne last Christmas. Some of my best shots, using my Sony camera. I put my new camera to test when i bought it a few days before my trip to Melbourne. It was like brand new when i took it there. It has faced rain, sun, snow, mist, extreme temperatures and everything. So enjoy the pictures. I put in my best skills into the camera that is really worthy of.

Change

Unfortunately, the song "In Pieces" by Linkin Park is too boring and monotonous to play on the violin. Guess what. Instead of playing that song, i played the song "Apologize" by One Republic last Friday. It worked out so well. I can play the whole song. Well, I'm currently, trying to smoothen out the song and remove any squeaking or glitches. When I'm confident enough, I'll post a video over at my blog as well as in my youtube account.

I would like to apologize to Jasper and KK. They were thinking i was going to play Linkin Park, when i didn't. Well, I'm working on that song too. Will keep you guys updated and if i do manage to accomplish that song, you guys will be the first to hear it.

Well, i guess, that's all for now. Going to practice the song on my violin again. Going to perfect it.

There's a lame idea i thought of, should i go to Cityhall underpass and play my songs? I might just earn some money busking. Well, maybe not, if the security guys find me first. Haha.

Objective Complete

Finished painting the main door frame. I decided to paint the bathroom pipes as well. Finished that as well. Called up a IT firm for a job. The guy seemed nice. He asked me to send him my resume. Done that as well. If i can earn some cash, it would be good. Deciding on a apple itouch? Maybe, see how first, or I'll just save it up for a new apple laptop or future use. With this money, i'm going to open my personal savings account. So that when i need to buy something, i can use an atm card instead of bringing hard cash.

Nothing much to do. It's going to be 3pm. Have yet to eat my lunch. Didn't eat breakfast either. Cool right. Wonder what my mom will cook for dinner? Well, later going to play my violin. Playing the piece i managed to write out. It's from Linkin Park. See my previous entry for more details. That's all for now.

What I've Done

Well, nothing much for this week, or in fact, the past couple of days. Other then getting used to my hand phone, I've done not much. Well, painted my main door frame today. Looks clean and nice. Tomorrow, I'll just finish up one portion and it's done. Don't feel like painting the bathroom pipes. People just don't appreciate the work i do. I got scolded for locking the gate? Well, apparently its a really dumb thing. Doesn't matter though. My household people react in very weird manners.

I've just written and printed out my score sheet, for my violin. I'm trying to play the song called "In Pieces" by Linkin Park, from the album, Minutes to Midnight.

Well, should be able to play. Need to listen well to the song and try to replicate it. Was trying to play "Apologize" by One Republic. First part turned out nice, and then the second part is too hard to play.

Trying to look for a job, but most of them require you to work on Saturdays. Can't work on Saturday, I have violin lessons on Saturday. No income then. Need to save some money up for my birthday and year end. Thought of opening my own account. So i don't need to carry cash all the time. Can get a nets card to facilitate easy purchase.

Well, that would be about it.
